I am thinking of just going back to a full multi-headphone electrostatic setup, as I have the opportunity to grab another rare electrostat. As such, the first thing to go is my beloved Luxman P-1 amplifier, which has double the power output of the newer P1-u (4W+4W/8 Ohms, 2W+2W/16 Ohms, 1W+1W/32 Ohms, 500mW+500mW/64 Ohms, 53mW+53mW/600 Ohms).
It is in marvelous condition aside from a minor ding on the top left corner of the front panel. It is only noticeable if you look for it. It's the 100V Japanese version, but it can be easily rewired to 110V (as the manual shows), and I'll be including a 100V => 110V transformer for smooth operation in North America.
No original packaging but I will of course ensure that it is packed well prior to shipping. I do, however, have the original manual.
I can take more pictures upon request but I would prefer to do so only if I get serious interest, as it is a bit of a pain to disconnect it from my rack.
The price I'm asking does not include shipping (probably around $40 to Canada, $60 to the US, and $150-$200 worldwide) or 3% Paypal. I will accept Paypal gift as the only means of payment from low feedback/new Head-Fi'ers.
Disclosure: out of all of the dynamic headphone amplifiers I have owned in the past, this is my absolute favourite, and since it seldom pops up on FS/FT I have listed it as an IC for now, pending the follow through of another transaction.
