Thanks.

They don't. Modern cases for the current version are slimmer. all 240GB mods require a thicker back casing. The thicker back casing makes the ipods the same thickness as the fat 6th generations. The only ones that fit that I would use (and do) are from iSkin Claro clear ones.

The one sold is the one I bought. Legit and top cases. They're tanks! I removed the clip though as i mounted the ipod in a portable rig setup.

Had mine for nearly 4 months and it's got no scratches on it. the plastic is VERY resistant.

Oh and hey, welcome to Headfi! Most people will say something to you like "sorry for your wallet", but I won't. You don't need to spend lots of money to get good sound. Consider yourself vaccinated from "Upgrade-itis"

Thanks for your answer.

That case is very nice, but the only seller that ships to my country has a shipping cost + tax insurance of 30 Usd, which is more than the case itself : /

Do you know if this one would work?

They say in the description that it is not suitable for the 7g 2010 iPod. Is it the same as the pre-2009 case you showed me?

Thanks in advance.

I can't tell too much from the picture but from what I know, that case is made a for a slim model, not a fat-backed model

No they don't, you need cases for the 160 GB 2007 iPod Classic or the 80 GB iPod video.

Cheaper perhaps, but i think most people would rather pay a little more to save the hassle of replacing the front and back. It's no quick job and can always carry risk of damaging the internals :)
