Needed feebback of some reshell companies.

Hi guys,

Need your expertise on reshelling. The problem with my old 535 which was just serviced due to driver degradation and warranty will be expiring soon. In future if it happens again, I'll need to pay a whopping $300 to replace per side. So I'm thinking of getting it reshell. Among this there were other reasons too, as when I use the IEM over a long period of time >6hrs, it's painful and the replacing waxed olives kinda irritating.

Currently, there is 1964, UM, stage 94, null audio and heir which I can contact from Singapore. At first I was intending to reshell +3 but many review say it kinda spoil the orginal quality so this idea is out.

It seems that only 2 companies(1964 & UM) does tuning after reshell so it would be as close as original sound stage & more balanced, does this matter?

So can I get some feedback on the above five companies on their reshell and sound quality after the reshell please?

Any good / bad experience are welcome.

Thanks

Heir Audio reshelled my TF10s. They sound great and they're gorgeous.

That said, I went with Heir as I was already having an 8.A done, so the $60 shipping was already taken care of.

Hey, i need help on finding a place to get my JH16's reshelled. Now while these are my first customs i have dabbled in the universal area a bit (Se535,4r's,TF10's,X10i) so i know what I'm getting into but now i don't know where do get these reshelled and i can't find anywhere that will do it. i want something that looks good and fits perfect that won't break the bank, $200 just to fill some molds and switch the drivers from one place to another seems ridiculous. Hope some one can help me out, i plan to ask many reshell companies at summer namm in nashville if they'd work with me to get it done rather than just make it another paper slip and thing to do for them,
