#1 problem with celebrity-endorsed products- corners are cut to pay royalties to celebs and keep pricing competitive.  Unfortunately, something has to be sacrificed.

I didn't take any pic, but mine broke exactly in the same way as this ones, just above the hinge.

I am guessing a no go for the akg k167. I was excited for them too... meh

Wanted something similar to the sound, but durable..

Yeah, as I said, great sound for the K167, but if they can brake that easily with my delicate use, then it's a no go, it's a pity.

Or they just dont have to work very hard on the quality because they know it will sell anyways...
