Well, a friend of mine that has the K167's already, says there's no comparison (the K167's are better in everything), so it's not hard to believe how much of a difference the K267's will be from the K181DJ.

I think that the K181DJ are in the league of the K67.

K167 sounds like an interesting headphone to check out if K267 will dissappoint. It may not be a basshead headphone but it sounds like something that easily beats for example K550 on somewhat more balanced closed headphone.

DeadMause, Techno master, David Guetta, Techno master..........I think some one needs to listen to more electronic.

personally, I am not a fan of either, so don't misconstrue my statement. I meant it merely in jest as both seem to be the public facing flag-bearers of EDM. (They were the only two to represent dance music at the Grammys, after-all...)

I am much more of a pre-house-Tiesto/Van Burin kind of guy. I also like some of Kaskade's new stuff (his mashes are sweet from time to time), and Hardwell's Encoded has some great songs as well. Marcel Woods' up all night is a huge success for me, with some of his own mixes stealing the spotlight, including 3stortion (Marcel Woods Treatment). On the cooler side, Late Night Alumni is one of my preferred groups for slower/ambient electronic, along with many independent artists (a list too long to mention here...)

Hey Moosecraft, have you seen the K167 Appreciation Thread? Not sure if I've seen you there. I don't think so.

Is the sound in the mids and highs similar to the K550?  I ask because I find the K550 to have a clinical sound (not in a good way).
