Denon D7100?! - Page 11

The HD800 doesn't photograph well.  It looks fine in videos but it's a bit of a mess in stills.  They also don't give that "colorful all plastic" feeling that a lot of other bad looking headphones have.

A $1500 headphone the size of your head. I don't think that's the beats crowd.

Also, Senn has never been the epitome of quality aesthetic design (to put it lightly). I don't see the HD800 or HD700 as that far from any of their other headphones.

the HD800 is stylishly futuristic, maybe not a design for everyone, but you still get a high end feel from them. The D7100 is offensive to everyone.

HD800 is fracking beautiful.

I think they look quite nice.

And I hope Denon will read this, but they wont, all I am saying is, I wont sell my d2k, and hell I'll probably buy a D7000 if there is a clearance sale, which I doubt, the prices may even skyrocket.

I do care more about the sound, but I want to be proud to show them off not use them like a 13 year old sex slave, in the dark and away from any eyes.

Come on they are not even close too that bad. we dont even know if these are the finished production version's.

If you wanted to show your non- head-fi friends what headphones are all about, and you can pick one can you own, and you own the d7k and the d7.1k which would it be? Admit it, not the D7.1k

LOL, I doubt Denon really cares

We're their most frequent customers and their ambassadors to the non-hifi world. They'd better start caring.

You are giving yourself way too much credit. smily_headphones1.gif

I've sold at least a dozen sets of headphones for them, probably more. Unless they're stupid they'll pay attention.

Who out side of the head-fi world have you seen with Denon headphones OTHER than the D1001

lucky that I have a pair of D7k's.. I'm not going to buy such a Beat's style headphone...

They are both pretty awful looking. But the 800 is still winning the ugly race between these two.

You are more likely to see people wearing Denon's or especially Sennheiser's than Beats here.

Not every country is affected by Beats hype.

These look terrible.. Denon should stick with their current style of the D7000's.
