Thats what I'm thinking it will be because I can't see a 6 BA universal or them just having 1 custom in their lineup.

Just chuck 3 TWFK's in there and you can have your 6 driver configuration, those drivers are seriously small. Just think of it as three UE700's mashed into one ksc75smile.gif

I'd love to see a 6 BA universal because I'm not into customs, I like the convenience of universals plus most places have return polices unlike with customs not to mention better resale value.  I just think it would be hard to have 6 drivers in a universal and it still being ergonomically sound with the fit.

I see you point... But looking at one GR07 shell for example, I can imagine that it would be possible to have 3x2BA inside it. Even if the shell of the GR07 would have to be a bit thicker for that, I believe it wouldn't change much in terms of fit and confort...rolleyes.gif

Yea its possible to have 3 TWFK type drivers in there, we'll just all have to wait and see what Vsonic has in store for us.

lets take the size of two triple fi's.  6 armatures would practically be considered ear rape in over 38 states.floatsmile.png

If they do this I'm going to love to see how big the housings going to be but is they can do it in customs I don't see why they can't for a universal.

I'm expecting a shape similar to Heir and other Universal/Custom shells. A shell similar to the GR07 cannot possibly hold 6 drivers, even if it's 3 TWFK drivers. Hopefully it'll be replaceable cables! No stupid design please though, keep it UE/JH/UM two-pin or at least recessed!

Man I hope its not 3 TWFK's even though I like the driver I just don't think the bass if they use 1 TWFK for it would sound right for a 6 driver BA.  I think it will be 2 TWFK's and some bigger driver for the bass if what they say is true about a 6 driver universal.  If that's the setup then the housing doesn't have to be huge.

Considering that Cosmic Ears' BA6 CIEM is about $500, I hope that VSONIC, who is known for their 'value', won't set the price too high...
