is there a difference in sound between the mkI and the mkII?

Yes, the MK2 is supposed to have more balanced sound. There's a huge thread about the GR07 and a new one about the MK2 here at HF, so you can look there for more info... wink.gif

I'm looking for a deep fit portable IEM with good isolation. Obviously high sound quality as well.

GR01 shell looks like it's small enough for most kinds of deep fit, but my ear canals have a pretty pronounced first bend.

Something tiny with great sound quality would be best.

Of note, GR07 causes me some grief with finding tips that work well with them. Almost everything falls off, while the included ones are just too large and/or short. (currently with MEElec triple flanges, but these tend to somewhat scrape my ears and they still have to be pushed to the backstop)

Also, does anyone know of a Comply P type long foam with larger nozzle size?

For me the Gr01 is very comfy and fits nice and tight. After a few minutes i forget that they are in my ears.
