An ode to impatience...

Sitting on my table are an NEC CDR-602 and Pure Silver Sound RCAs. They only have each other as friends.

The Sugden Headmaster will be here tomorrow from FedEx. That's 24 hours too long.

The ATH-W11JPNs are still in Japan. Stupid middleman.

Payment for the Elco is somewhere between here and Singapore. Hopefully not in the pocket of someone other than the seller. So it won't be here until over a week from now - if he even gets the payment at all.

The Nixon DacKit was being shipped today. Later this same day, I'm already wondering why it's taking so long to get here.

Man this is painful. And knowing me, I'll have sold half of it anyways by two weeks from now.

Good things come to those who wait.

Hi Strohmie. I know what you mean. Before I decided on the Perreaux I was going to go for a Solo, the guy who builds them told me originally it was going to be two weeks. So I decided to wait. When the two weeks was up, I heard nothing back, so I emailed him and then he said it was going to be at least another two weeks. So I decided to get the Perreaux instead, and thus far I've been waiting nearly a week. I am hoping its going to come tomorrow, as I am pretty sure its been shipped, but its more likely to be next week I feel... and I am one impatient git.

But even worse than that, I put a deposit down on a new sports car in December, and I still have OVER a month to wait to get that

Grr, I can sympathize. I shipped out my only good source today (my first modded RME) and I am stuck listeing to my onboard Soundstorm audio until my new card arrives (hopefully Friday, but more likely Monday). I did recive the opamps I will put on it today, though, so I can just sit here staring at them, wondering how the will sound (especially the speed-demon LM7171) until my card, adapters, nad blackgates arrive.

Well I just found out this morning that due to flooding in New Zealand, the amp is going to be delayed further. I am beginning to wonder if i'll ever get another headphone amp at this rate
