Souls vs Beats vs Chambers - Page 5

post #61 of 238

well... if you throw enough money at it..  you can have very unique Beyers... on request they can even do personal customizations that are not listed on the website

http://north-america.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/headphones-and-headsets/mobile-portable.html

IMO they look way more classy than the cheap plastics... If I were a highschool or college student, and I'm the latter one. I'd like to be classy than to be part of the mainstream unless the mainstream is classytongue.gif I have the W1000X, although not portable... they are definately eye candies... hmmm elegant furniture!

Wow. I can get those to match my green Honda Element perfectly. So, so beautiful. But alas my heart (and $$$) have been stolen by the VALiant Kolton and the promises of the M-100 which I have sworn my allegiance to. Come late April or early May I will be $300 poorer and my ears will be infinitely richer.

But, wow. Here's something else to screw with your head coolio.

color ware is too expensive for what you get

post #66 of 238

Haha, nice try, but I already knew about colorware and ruled them out because an extra $200 for a really awesome paint job wasnt worth it imo.

So have you made up your mind, yet?

Yeah, this has been my experience wearing Grados out and about as well.  People actually ask me about my RS1i's more often than my Edition 8's ;_;

I wouldn't recommend the OP get Grado's, though, because they don't isolate, and he probably wants that.  I only take mine out when I go bike riding for just that reason as they allow me to hear traffic.

@OP: Dude, don't get headphones with lights in them.
