hey, i currently have the audioengine a5's but from what im reading theyre not made for studio monitoring (for making music). so i was wondering whats the best cheap studio monitors that i can get for around $100. I heard about the m-audio av40 but how do the rokits compare in the same price range? and please post any other suggestions you may have. thanks!

What makes you think the Audioengine A5 would be inferior to another $100/pr powered monitor for "making music?"
