Well to be honest.. I don't know.. Just trying to be optimistic here.. redface.gif

 

The only other IEM I've tried that has flat cables were the Jays a-Jays Three/Four. They just couldn't be worn over the ear with my ears, even though others seem to be able to. But perhaps since the cable exits the housing differently, it could be possible to wear it over the ear.

I had A-JAYS 3 before, flat table, they work over-the-ear just fine :)

I guess I was just hoping for a design close (or at least remotely similar?) to the GR07 tongue_smile.gif

 

That said, I've been eagerly waiting for this, and I can't wait for initial impressions to pour in, even though I'd probably buy it without reading reviews lol.

That aside, I do think it looks pretty, although I hold my judgement until I see an actual picture rather than a render. rolleyes.gif

 

 

Still, if you look at the picture bellow, you can see that the K3003's cable goes from one side (where it reaches the housing), around the top to the other side of the housing, where it goes inside. This doesn't seem to be the case with the GR08! Although the cable is on the side, like on the K3003, it seems to go inside the housing right there... rolleyes.gif

Lol, yeah I also thought the design would be similar to the GR07. Received quite a surprise when that image posted by ClieOS looks nothing like the GR07.. rolleyes.gif

I am pretty sure the one I posted is the official picture (they never did say whether it was going to be real picture or rendering picture). However, there might be more pictures on May 1st - that I don't know.

Anyway. how many way can you design a BA + dynamic hybrid? Essentially they are all very much alike, or if you like, K3003'ish. The one with the most difference is SuperDart, and it is still a barrel shape design except with the cable coming out from the back. A GR07 design will never work since there simply isn't enough room inside except a dynamic driver.

The more I think about it, the more I realise that yeah.. the K3003 is designed very well; and I can't really think of other designs without making it a bit big. The K3003 achieves a small, compact design despite the large amount of drivers, and doesn't seem to waste much space at all ( *ehem* W3). redface.gif
