They are just doing the same thing as they did with the GR07. They took a long time since they announced it, until it was launched to the market. And it's launch date was also delayed at least once. You see, that's the thing with VSONIC, they take their time and perfect their products to what they believe it's right. They don't care much about market pressure, as other companies do, and then released bad designed/manufactured/tunned IEMs. And then everyone comes to HF bashing those companies, because they should've taken their time before releasing that product too early in the market...

And taking the GR07 (all models) as an example (and also the GR01, to some extent), VSONIC did a hell of a job for it's price/performance ratio, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the GR08 to trail that same path!

Don't worry, they aren't! HF pretty much doesn't exist for VSONIC, and the same applies for the global market outside of China! VSONIC is focused mainly on the chinese domestic market, where they're supposed to be a major player. The sales numbers outside of China are marginal to them, so don't worry, they're not teasing us, nor trying to create a hype here at HF over their new GR08 model. You just need to be patient like the rest of us. Hopefully, in a couple of months, our patiente will reward us all with a great sounding product, at a great price...

As said before, they are made of stainless steel, and it's visible that the housing has different parts!

Now, some new facts about this IEM, according to VSONIC's CEO:

• it's yet to be named officially, as market product!!! We are calling it GR08 over here, but the only "name" it has so far for VSONIC is their internal product code: 008;
• it will feature interchangeable sonic filters (like the K3003);
• each unit/pair of these is supposed to have an unique serial number;
• it will be VSONIC highest quality production standard and complex technology IEM until now.
• the product package is being said to be the most luxurious IEM package in the market (not sure what they'll include even more than the GR07 package);
• the cable color is yet to be decided, and VSONIC is accepting user suggestions about it (I hope they go for black)!
• production is supposed to start within a month, so I guess we can expect that the market availability ETA for December is for real!!!
