i just use a Y-splitter on the XLR outputs when doing this at meets.  for 2 BHSEs the parallel input impedance is 25K so theres no problems attaching both amps to the same source output.

There's one last point I'd like to make on the LL with the BHSE, when Ian visited my place both amps were feed by the K-01 and even though Ian's LL wasn't plugged into the power purifier I have, the K-01 was. If anyone has ever heard the K-01 with their audio equipment, I'm sure they noticed what difference a good source makes.

Looks like the final installment in the comparison between the WES, BHSE and LL is in:

Seems they like the Cavilli best with the SR-009. 

I just received my Liquid Lightning and SR-009 and am in the process of giving it a full listening. Will be comparing it to my WA5/LCD-3 setup.

 

Look forward to others who have heard two or three of these amps with their impressions also.

Yup, their findings mirror my thoughts of the LL/009 combo - finest sound known to my ears other than through speakers.

Happy to see a win for Alex, though don't take it too far out on context. They basically said it's down to preference...but considering the price gaps, I'd still say that's a major win.

Very positive review, good news for Cavalli.

 

A consideration for aesthetics compared to the WES and BHSE would have been informative, this is one area the LL does little for me, there’s certainly an improvement over from LF, but visually for the price the amp lacks aesthetic character. Many may like the look, just my 2c.

I agree totally. I have not seen either of the other amps (WES and BHSE), but from what I have seen via photos and how the Cavalli compares to my WA5 it really does fail WRT aesthetics.

 

However the sound I am currently getting from it and the SR-009's certainly makes me look past its aesthetics. The question then are the other two amps worth the extra cost on purely aesthetic grounds? I am sure each will have their own views in this regard.

I agree somewhat, but it's hard to deny it looks amazing next to my Cambridge 851C. Both brushed black fronts, blue and white accents, blue LEDs. Like they were made for each other.

 

I do think that part of the cost with the others could be the fancy bodies, but I don't think the LL is particularly ugly. Just simple.

 

You have to consider that it's significantly harder to make an SS product look super fancy as well (at least in my mind) compared to a tube amp. Tube glow does a lot for aesthetics.

Never really said it was ugly, but just does not have the appeal of the other two amps or my WA5, which as you stated have the advantage of tubes and their glow!

Certainly is nice during our Canadian winters.

Really? I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Pretty ugly IMO. I'd rather the $ be spent on sonics and not casing.

Kinda in the same boat. Not a fan of that. I've always been a fan of simple, boxy designs. Some of my favorite cars are that way, too.
