Audio Technica ath-m50 in White ?

I was just looking on audio technica's website and I saw they are going to be producing some white m50's. How do you guys think they look and do you think they could compete with beats?

So the "Limited Edition" ones are actually cheaper than the regular ones on Amazon because you get a $30 coupon ($139.99) on that site.

The white version isn't limited, but yeah, it's cheaper on that site. You can also apply the gift card to your order, which would bring it down to $139.99 for the purchase.

I hate beats the reason I posted this  is because my friend just got some beats and I would just love to shove these in  his face haha.

AFAIK the ATH-M50SLE is only produced in silver as shown on the AT website. The white one are standard M50's, I think there may also be a gold color standard M50 but I'm not totally sure about this.

Correct. M50s/LE has black headband, silver cups with light metallic blue accents.

They look just like my white pro700's. I would say dont get them unless you just plan on looking at them. Im scared to use mine because of getting the earpads dirty or the headband. :-p
