What do you mean? If I didn't want reliability I'd go for a Lincoln. wink.gif Tonight I told the Mrs, if the place is too swanky for us to take the CTS-V, then I don't want to go. I don't really want to get a big luxury car, anyway.

CTS-V is a sports car? Family saloon, IMO.

Pics of the new member of the garage, picked it up Monday.





`67 GT500E Super Snake "Eleanor" remake. Those pics aren't very good, I'll post better ones once it's been cleaned up and detailed properly.

Been talking about it with Warren, obob, and billy for a couple days, hadn't really intended on buying that car at all. I do like it a lot, though.

You know I'd been planning on building a `67 Eleanor replica, and that would have been fun, but there's no way I could have come close for the price I paid.

I just looked outside and holy shazbot! There's like 2" of snow on the ground here and it's still falling. eek.gif

So which car do you choose when there is snow on the roads? I'm assuming that you must have something AWD in the stable....especially now with a baby in the family.

We have a Volvo wagon that has AWD, I don't talk about it much because there's not much to talk about, it's a Volvo. biggrin.gif It's also the housekeeper's primary vehicle. There's also the Wayne Rover, which I used today, and it's a lot of fun to drive. There's not much that can keep it from going anywhere.

We ended up with ~4" by this morning. That wasn't bad. The Rover went through it like it wasn't even there. As expected, half the staff called in saying they couldn't make it, but it was dead so all we did was get caught up on service and projects. We put the Mustang on the dyno and she put down a colossal 737hp w/ 724 lb/ft of torque at the wheels, and 826hp at the crank. eek.gif

The CTS has lots of room in the back, that's why I got a sedan and not the coupe. It seats two adults very comfortably w/ plenty of leg room (and I'm fairly tall).
