Adoption and tribal law is a very different world - you have to remember that registered tribes are quasi-sovereign (I say quasi not as a disrespect, but because on one hand they are fully sovereign nations, but on the other, they are still (to some extent) subject to American jurisprudence (e.g. capital crimes are handled by the FBI) and there's a lot of overlap with American services (like schools and family services) in some cases). From what I remember, if the child is eligible to be a registered tribal member, or is a registered tribal member, the tribe has an option to supremacy in the case - the idea was to prevent historical abuses where native-born infants were basically shanghai'd and handed to white couples to raise them (part of the "extermination" phase of US Indian policy years ago). It's a good idea in concept, but it makes DCS cases involving these children more touchy.
In this specific case, I feel like the respondent father is trying to use ICWA to his advantage (in other words not in the "spirit" of the law - his claim shouldn'tve been honored in the first place, but the adoptive parents shouldn'tve just lawyered up either) - but what I really hate to see is that we could very realistically see ICWA strucken down simply so these yuppies can have their I Am Sam moment in court (I know that sounds harsh but honestly the question isn't about if they're good parents or not, it's about ICWA, and they don't seem to care about that - they just want the kid). I also hate custody disputes in general, because both sides usually end up acting so absolutely childish by the end of it. It usually just becomes a mud sligning competition.

AM's 2-seaters are definitely "sports cars", but they do ride more on the spongy side of things. The Vanq has a very nice ride, not what I'd call stiff. I'd classify it as a gentleman's racer or luxury coupe, similar to the LFA but more attractive. The Mac is... I have no idea. Depending on what you set it on, it can be many things; tourer, track racer, luxury cruiser, or backroad hellion. It can wear many hats.
I think it's because she's so smug, she comes off as condescending.
I think most embedded devices run some version of Linux - I know most of the HT gear in my house does for example. And yeah, condescending is probably a good word for it - it sounds like she's trying to be a school marm and lecture me for committing some offense.
