Hey there's an idea!  smile.gif

But that's still three miles away.  Think about how much of that burns away just driving back home from the pump!  Okay, not that much, but still.

Who's that?  Is that who I think it is?  Mrs. Magick?  Pretty involved costume... hard to recognize who's underneath.  What/who did you go as?  Surely not Spider-Man...

I think Black Cat got robbed in the book "100 Sexiest Women in Comics" - she was only #27, but should have been much higher! I would have put her in the top 15, maybe even the top 10.

I could possibly rig up something above ground, but I'm pretty sure putting a petrol tank in the ground requires EPA approval, or something.

Aye, that's her. You can't tell by the eyes? They're a dead give away. No, I dressed as Thor, had a blonde wig and everything.

She and X-23 are her favorite Marvel characters. I tried to get her to go as the latter, but she figured no one would recognize the reference.

Hmm, so you'd need some kind of above-ground storage tank.  I bet that would also require EPA approval on some level.  Might as well endanger the ground water table while you're at it and do it right!  biggrin.gif

Well, no, because I don't check out my bros' wives.  I have a rough idea of what she looks like.  But in general, I'd have to say that I have not committed any significant part of those visuals to memory.  biggrin.gif

LOL, that actually a pretty good choice for you.  Pics would be cool if ya got 'em... especially of your Mjolnir prop (if you had one).  smile.gif

Noooo, no pics, please. I'd rather forget about the wig, thanks. wink.gif As for Meow-meow, I've had a replica of that for years. Yes, it's heavy, I think it weighs 20lbs.

I found out I can just buy 50gal barrels of the fuel and have it delivered, they set it up and everything.

Oh, and I wasn't aware of this, but it seems the bottom in the Aston Martin Vanquish market has fallen out, or something (likely because the new ones have been announced). You can get a 2004 Vanquish (V12) for under $80,000, when new it was a $260k car. eek.gif This example I found for $72k, and that's with an updated gearbox and only 18k miles.

So, that's a nice new Silver addition to your garage...I vote you do a three-way comparison between that, the NSX, and the 911 since you'll have them all available before the McLaren is finished. tongue.gif

And yeah, you can buy fuel in barrels, and get a hand-pump, and service yourself (wow that sounds so wrong) - just be sure you have proper ventilation and aren't doing stupid things around wherever you store it. You could alternately just get a nice pick-up and throw a fueling setup in the back, like a rancher.

It's all the way in Ft Lauderdale. Unlike some cheaper gambles, I'd really like to test drive something like this before buying it. It's a complicated system and very expensive to repair. If I'd known how much it was going to cost to restore the RR, I may have passed on it. redface.gif

The fuel company comes out and delivers it, plus they set it all up for you, apparently. Barrel stand, hand pump, the works. It's all included in your first purchase. I'd likely have it placed outside, next to the wellhouse.

Dang, that's boss.  Ever try smacking anything with it?  BTW, is that strap secure?

Wow, that seems simple enough.  Are you going to do it?

At what point do you think the Mrs. is gonna be a little peeved that she only drives a Mini?

I don't know what the laws are like there, but I'm seeing a misdemeanor (if not felony) ticket for having that sitting outside and "unsecured" as some sort of criminal hazard (yes this is a "protect the children by paying us a fine so we can buy new tazers" thing). Otherwise I'd say +1 on this.

You know the funny part about when you said "bros wives", it could be interpreted in two ways lol. More than one brother with each one having one wife or one bro with multiple wives. very_evil_smiley.gif

It's not a big deal, really. I just talk to these people. The mistake a lot of fans make is putting "stars" on a pedestal, when you should just talk with them like regular folks. Out of the blue I dropped James a line asking about the McLaren 12C Spider, trying to decide if I should order one, and since then we chat back and forth about all sorts of stuff, sometimes for quite a while.

LOL, better not let someone hear you say that, because then we'd be guilty of objectifying women or something.

We'll I think we should be quite safe here ;). Just took me a second to figure out what you meant with that last comment and found it funny it actually had two possible meanings :P.
