Don't ever, ever sell your car without getting it cleared with the wife. The guy who sold the 400GT did that, and now he has to deal with it. Yesterday he called up the garage, I'd given him a business card, all in a lather and wanted to buy back the car. The problem was; 1. I'd already went to the clerk and paid for TTT, ordered new bits for a few upgrades, and put on new Summer meat, all to the tune of almost $6000. 2. I don't want to sell it back, because I really like it. So I told him if he comes up with $28,000 he can have it back, which made him angry, but I'm the one with the signed and notarized title. It's not my job to check with his
wife to see if it's okay for him to sell a car that's in his name. Then he said something silly like, "well, I'll come down there and we'll talk
about it". What does that even mean? He's going to invade the garage and kick my ass? I just told him that my schedule is full for the next couple weeks, but he could speak with my PR director (Frank). Also, never start a conversation with, "You need to give me xxxxx back".
*I* don't need
to do anything of the sort.
