I still think the original Batmobile was better.

I think that Volo had an old Batmobile for sale recently; it could be the same one if it was headed south.

I'm not, a friend sent that to me in a text. I replied with, "follow that truck and ask if it's for sale!"

He refused, jerk. rolleyes.gif

Coincidentally, we had the Enzo out testing setups and ironing-out "wrinkles" in the system (many, many wrinkles) and we don't have the badges back on the car yet, so when we stopped for more gas (thirstiest car in the history of forever) and a woman actually walked up and asked, earnestly, "Is that going to be the Batmobile in the new movie?"

I looked at her, my mechanic, the car, back at her, then at the car again.
"You know, it could be, couldn't it?"
She replied, "For real?"
I shrugged, "Why not?"
Then she snapped a pic, smiled, and drove off.

So yeah, the Enzo is going to be the new Batmobile, you heard it here first! biggrin.gif

Well Black her up and she looks a damn site better than anything they have used in the films thus far.

Should pop by the location shoot. Scare hell out of em.

And speaking of Enzo's, how come you don't have one of these?

I don't believe the Ferrari V4 ever made it into production, I think it was simply a design study for the Ferrari museum. Very sexy, though.

RM Auctions reports that they broke 12 world records today, by an average of 15%. Bloody Nora... eek.gif the European collector car market is exploding. However, it's going too fast and that can only mean there's going to be a severe correction down the line, so it's a good time to be very cautious. I will say this though, I think the days of buying relatively inexpensive Italian and German midrange classics is over.

That aside, we found a Euro-spec `67 Dino 206 GT (never US titled) with an older restoration in Ohio for a very reasonable price, even by last year's values, and I'm buying it. My guys are going up to get it on Monday. IMO, it's one of the 5 most beautiful production cars ever made.

Dat butt...

I was about to say, I didn't think that bike was ever intended for a production run.

Man, covered headlights and a non-TRR color make all the difference for the Dino. I've never considered it to be among the prettier Ferraris in existence, but that particular example looks sublime.

I have always loved the Dino - it is one of the the reasons I was always so disappointed in the 308 series.
