I've ridden in a tuned GLH (>300hp), but not a GLHS, and it scared the **** out of me. eek.gif When you put your foot down, you'd better have that car pointing in the direction you want to go. Otherwise, you'll be making your explanations to St Peter, with a Dodge steering wheel wrapped around your neck. "Laggy" doesn't begin to describe it.

Things are interesting again, I've learned I have some "hobby" funds available. What great timing!

He must have had everydamthing on that car safety wired and tack welded. I mean it quite literally when I say they disassembled themselves, and rapidly. They made 70's English quality control look like NASA prep for a Moon Shot.

Grab the Lambeaux before the Beeb gets her:eek:   "Broke" huh?:)

So wait, the guy modified a 1 of 20 car to give it twin superchargers? That takes some cajones.

I think it might be a while before the Beebster gets his license back...

We don't want him! Why do think he's down there in the first place?

Indeed....what was he thinking there?

And for that matter,  why twin superchargers? If you're gonna mess with a car like that, then do it all the way.....superchargers and turbos, like Lancia did back in the day. :veryevil:

I was disappointed that he got released so quickly. I'm sure he would have made some fascinating new friends in there.

Do you think it's really worth it to be them? If you had the opportunity to become one of them, would you? Would you build the wild public persona?

No where to go but downhill on that pop puppy mill ride. They get paid a lot to die before 30:wink_face:

Word, that's nuts, right? Whoever did it did one heck of a job though, it looks 100% professional; intercooled, clean welds, and properly cowled/braced. There's only a handful of shops that can make a job like that look "factory", and it does. That 790hp is whp too. It doesn't stop with the blowers, they reworked the trannie, differential, suspension (custom adj air-ride), and brakes (with $25k HRE wheel package). My guess is that would eat an Aventador's lunch. But yes, that takes some stones to do that to such a rare car, I doubt I would have. redface.gif
