The KR201 is about a 3, but the TG500 is a 4. The former is complete, the 500 comes with the original engine but it isn't in the car, right now it has a 2cyl 1000cc VW in it.

I'd love to be standing in your shop when you roll those two in. Some epic fun driving coming your way.

Now If you can just find some 8 inch wide 3 piece wheels................

Nah, for yard work and clearing trees. Plus I think they're just cool (Lamborghini tractors). Porsche made a few too.

So sexy! biggrin.gif

BTW, I'm gearing up for some trick or treat action w/ the papoose, first time I've gone out to TorT in 31 years. I'm stoked!

I'd go for it if you think you'd get any sort of use out of it. Got any tractor shows nearby?

It (the tractor) went for a lot less than I thought it would. I guess I'm used to classic car pricing. I'm sure we'll find something to do with it. It's smaller than I thought it would be, compared to the John Deere tractors.

My mechanic is laughing his a** off.

"I'll bet the old guys at the auction thought you were some kind of rube, 'Who would pay $27000 for that PoS when you can get a better Deere for half that?'"

I don't care, if nothing else we can use it to grade the parking lot and haul parade floats in town. rolleyes.gif

Update:

The Corvair from the Lambrecht auction has been stripped and is taking shape, but the engine should be scrapped, I'm told.

File written by Adobe Photoshop? 4.0

So we're talking about something radical, like a 240ci Buick V8 (in Europe called a Rover V8). It's tiny, all aluminum, and weighs just slightly more than the flat-6 it'll be replacing. Plus we have one already and my mechanic has been looking for a project to put it in.

Ever since I saw that Lamborghini used to make tractors, I wanted one. No concrete reason why, I just did.

As I said before, I love Corvairs. They're awesome cars to drive, mostly because they're quite oversteery. Just cut the wheels in, give it some throttle, and drive with your right foot. If drifters knew about them, they'd be a lot more popular now.
