That is true...plus having that much hp on the street is pretty much useless. You could have much more fun in a less powerful car

I wouldn't trust Hennessey with a $500 golf cart, much less a valuable sports car. Not after reading about how he cheats his customers. That's just the tip of a huge iceberg. Besides, I love working with Heffner Performance, those guys are a true class act with great products.

Dunno, I'll wait and see what it can do. If it's well in excess of 600bhp, I won't have to. IMO, it's likely to be the brand's first sub-3 second car.

You know, Abyss-asmyss, big deal, as Tyll's measurements show, my DIY cans smash them in all but THD and mine are closed. wink.gif

Actually, they measure better than HD800s, in some ways (better 30Hz square wave and deeper sub-bass extension). blink.gif

If I get that slightly-elevated THD issue resolved, based on current silly pricing, I could charge $7000 for mine! biggrin.gif

I don't make them to sell, they're strictly special occasion gifts. With as much time as I put into each set, I don't think I could charge enough to make them balance out, monetarily.

While you're at it, hire Veyrongatti as your sales and marketing guy.

Not liking those Abyss square wave plots one little bit.

The T50 (and it's siblings for that matter) are just wonderful diamonds in the rough. Suffer mainly from an enclosure designed to fit Pumkinhead himself. I suspect that is where the THD issue lie.

At any rate for the 5K ask on the Abyssmal's I can do a lot of modding on a T50 or twenty. biggrin.gif

For 5.5k spend that money should be spent elsewhere because finally hearing the Abyss myself, it was Abyss-mal at the asking price. Joe should be ashamed.

It must have been your source.

No your ears must be efed.

No no it was the wrong amp.

You just haven't heard enough summit fi to make the judgement.

A wandering spacial anomaly changed the listening conditions just where you were listening at that exact moment.

Anyone but me notice that the buyers list seems to be solely populated by flagship buyers only?
