What's wild is the engine in the Camaro is ~$30k new, all by itself. And damn, that vette looks menacing. very_evil_smiley.gif

Will you stick with the tri-power setup on that Vette, or put an EFI setup on it?

It's stock, for the most part, so I'm leaving the carbs.

We pay 250k for a 911 Carrera S.

Holden was selling the Clubsport as the Pontiac G8 for 30k in the USA while we pay 70k for a car that's made here:-(

After all this first car talk, I really want a car now. Unfortunately this isnt viable, as insurance is sky high and I have no where to park my car if I did buy one frown.gif

Looks like I will have to start saving for an apartment as soon as I go to work frown.gif

When you are teen, any car is better than no car. However, it's not just the price of the car itself, there's also the cost of gas & insurance. I was fortunate enough to have parents that paid for those things - and I'm trying to do the same for my kids. Not every family can do that. It would certainly help if my kids would get part time jobs!

No kidding, I paid for everything with my first car; the car itself, insurance, gas, and maintenance. At 16 I was working 30 hours each week and going to school (and making As). Nowadays I guess that would be considered abuse. confused_face_2.gif
