Even though I'm quite fortunate, I don't grow money on trees lol and also, even if it'll be me that will drive it for most of the time, my dad will also drive it a bit so installing a bolt on supercharger kit or even a turbocharger will make him have his heart go through the roof.

For ruining egos though, there's my friend's Jazz that will do the job just fine.

There are far, far too many little cars in SoCal with fat wheels and a shrieking exhaust - but that's it. Lots of noise, but no go-go.

That's not good, best stick with the Jazz. blink.gif

How much is a converted McLaren F1 GTR? Why, it's $5.27M, or ~$1M less than a factory, road-going F1. Good investment, though. Mulling it over.

Same here. I can't go out to the west end of the city without being "jumped" by the fart can patrol. I calmly pull away from the lights, I guess they think they've "won". biggrin.gif

You could be an epic troll there....blip your throttle once or twice to sucker them into tearing away at full throttle, only to end up getting pulled over....lol.

Very best,

Actually, after some searching I found out that it costs around 475 million IDR (around 50000 USD) for an Abarth SS and that is off the road price I think. The 695 Tributo Ferrari is even more crazy, 800 million IDR (83000 USD) off the road price.

The import tax on cars here is just beyond ridiculous. You need to be extremely wealthy in Indonesia just to experience a bit of Euro delicacy.

Very best,

They rev, I rev. They pull away from the light burning up their tires, I laugh at them.

So out of your collection, is there one that you'd call a "sleeper"....that would dust most cars off the line but doesn't draw any attention to itself? I suppose the new Brooklands is faster than most anyone would think, but is it really possible for a Bentley to not be noticed?

Very best,

Or move to Europe?

Sleepers... Well, the E28 M5 catches people around here off guard, because all they see is an old BMW, and the SCed Rover can do 0-60 in <5 secs (which baffles the VTEC crowd). That's probably the biggest sleeper right there, @6000lbs.

I am reminded of the line from Spiderman: With great power comes great responsibility.

People put 22" spinners on their escalade and fart-can exhausts on their Scion to impress *other* people. Sure, some people also buy a Ferrari or McLaren to impress other people, but a true car nut buys them for *himself*. That's what the guys with the LED lights in the fenders will never understand, and it's why the Ferrari owner doesn't bother playing stoplight games. Why should he? He doesn't give a d@mn what is going on in the car next to him. He's enjoying *his* car... cool.gif

Jeez, I don't know what is worse, the annoying bimbo or the empty-headed twit with her. Fox news is a joke.

Umm, yeah, that's why I don't watch cable news anymore. At one time I subbed to Jane's, and they're about 6 months ahead of everyone else with info, but it's really dense reading with little "Ooooo" factor. wink.gif I still have like 3 years of back issues, and it's a little shocking what the US DOD lets them have access to.

I usually don't pimp out ebay deals, but this is an exception. I have one of these pipes and it's one of my favorite smokers, by far, and gorgeous to boot. In any decent pipe shop it would sell for $200+, since it's unsmoked, so at its current bid price of $30 it's a screaming deal. Jump, jump!
