What don't you like about the current wheels?  Too many spokes?  Wrong color?

The 500 Abarth is a great little car but it costs like 600 million Indonesian Rupiahs which is around 61000 dollars which is ridiculous.

All I know of is that the Asian market Jazz is different than the US and EU counterparts. It differs mainly on the front bumper (the US being longer to accomodate pedestrian safety regulations) and the engine. In the EU, you can only get the 1.2L and 1.3L whereas in the US, it's the 1.5L L15A7 engine, the same as the Asian market.

There might be other changes that I don't know of but that's mainly the major ones.

Too many spokes and the wrong colour. That's it. It also makes the car look like it has casters for wheels.

The size is perfect (16") but it's not a very good design. I might change it for Enkei PF01 in black with a certain offset although I'm still searching for other designs.

OK then, silver it is. Now I'm just thinking on what wheels will it look good on.

17" HFP w/Carbon Bronze finish?  Classic, yet modern.  http://www.hondapartworld.com/civic-coupe-si-accessories/civic-coupe-si-wheels/1382_08W17-SNA-101

Or if you want more of a Tuner/JDM look, maybe a Ninja NJ01?  http://www.carid.com/ninja-wheels/nj01-black-red-1454470.html

Heya,

Nah, I'll stick to either Enkei, Volk Rays, Work, BBS, SSR, Advan wheels.

I already know what size it will be.

16x7 with at least 35mm or 40mm offset.

Tyres will be 205/50/R16 but I still don't know for which brand I'm going to go.

Very best,

Why not white on black wheels?

Pardon me guys/girls but I could never understand this modding of Japanese cars with rims, bodywork and so on. Just seems too cheesy and pointless IMHO unless there's a huge amount of power involved.

Anyone willing to chime in to explain this phenomenon?

Heya,

It's a little known fact in the Western world, but putting all that sh**e on helps them drift better, in much the same way that putting stripes on a muscle car makes it go faster.

No, not really.

Very best,

My friend already has a white Jazz/Fit. It will look very awkward if I have it also in white.

Black wheels is definitive though.

Phenomenon? Maybe not but a culture thing, then yes.

It's just the nice fact that Japanese cars are easily tunable and even the most basic upgrades can make a difference. I like to think of it like my Fostex T50RP. The potential is there, you just need to unlock it.

For wheels though, well it helps to shave a few kilograms and since I'll be changing the wheels, I'll also be changing the tyres for a more performance orientated one.

Engine wise, I will probably touch it but very lightly. Exterior wise, I will not change one single thing apart from the wheels. My Jazz/Fit is going to be quite conservative looking.

Hey, you and your other half were the ones that escalated things to such an obnoxious level.....at which point I thought,

So,

Very best,

Edit:

Now if the two of you would like to get past this silly situation, and let it rest in peace, as it were, I would be amenable to a cease-fire, so to say.

Very best,

Black on Black is cool as well......... Why not use a mugen supercharger? Actually why not Mugen everything? :P Not the Mugen exterior parts though..... make it a sleeper wink.gif and then when a D******** in a Sports/Super or a certain german brand from Munich cuts you off. RUIN HIS OVERSIZED EGO biggrin.gif

It's very easy to spot sleepers nowadays because it will have a semi-loud exhaust.

I had a real sleeper tuned Alfa 156 GTA with a limited diff and a silent exhaust. The only sound was the engine intake and a 0–60 of under 4.5 seconds and don't mess with the latest AMG Mercedes as they are being chipped and tuned with no obvious signs. The people who tuned my car told me that the tuning is so discreet, even insurance couldn't find any signs and these cars were doing 0–60 in the lower 3 region.
