There's a new wrinkle to this...

Okay, let's suspend disbelief for just a moment. How stupid/irresponsible do you have to be to lose track of ~$500k of property that was part of your livelihood for over 30 years (his Detective 27, a CGC 6.5 UR, is worth $200-250k by itself)? His girlfriend is driving the box up, as we speak, to make this deal, but he's so sorry for the mixup/"misunderstanding". Jezus H Kryptonite, if I didn't want these so badly I'd tell him where he can stick `em. Why isn't he going to an auction house? I've asked myself the same question 100 times. I believe he doesn't want the sale traced, and it likely goes back to financial issues he had several years ago. I have no proof, and he claims it's because of the outrageous auction fees, but at that level you can shop the different houses and get a better rate. He isn't a moron, despite what he's trying to get me to believe. I'll just be happy when this is all over, it's giving me a migrane.
Those look a little delicate for 6-13 y/os, but maybe I'm wrong.
The one thing I liked about the UR-20s is that they appear to be pretty solid. I'm sure they'll be dropped and mishandled, so durability is a major concern. AAR, I ordered 30 of them for the class and they should be in tomorrow (I <3 Amazon Prime), so we'll see.
