Have you seen this one?  http://aloaudio.com/amp-ipod-wallet.html  I've got one around my iPod Touch 4G and JDSLabs C421 amp and it works pretty well.  :)

LOL...and if you're lucky ALO will only rush you $40 on the shipping, like the bands, right? ;)

They make some awesome stuff, but holy smokes they are not scared to price it either...

Yeah it's a bit pricey.  But I was having a hard time finding something else I liked enough.

I'm in Canada so it's quite expensive to get stuff shipped here from the USA sometimes too.  I actually live less than a half an hour from the border, so in this case I had it shipped to a service just south of the border and picked it up myself.

I will give them that much...they can charge because they have good products.

These are the best I've found: no adhesive mess, no need for FiiO or NuForce wide straps:

I've used straps from FiiO and others. But there are 3 problems for me.

  • One is the width makes it difficult to avoid covering my iPhone screen, or in some amps, controls such as on the E17.
  • Another is that they can be too loose for combos like iPhone and Arrow amp.
  • Third, as I pull the stack from my pocket, the tacky outside of the strap causes it to come off the stack.

Here is what I found in a drug store or beauty store.  It is intended for hair use.  This exact one, "No Slip Grip,"  is the only one on the shelf I like:

  • diameter is tighter
  • width is perfect
  • inner surface is rubberized so it stays in place
  • outer surface is soft not rubber so it doesn't come off in my pocket.

This mystery product?
