Before I order a new Audinst HUD-MX1 from over sea, I thought I'd call for a used unit first.

 

I am looking for a USB DAC & AMP combo unit with the following features:

 

  • Up to 24bit 96kHz USB 
  • Works in Linux. In other words, no proprietary drivers needed.
  • Analog RCA out.
  • Built in headphone amp with low output impedance and high power (500mW and up would be nice).
  • Not dependent on USB power.

 

I am located in Quebec, Canada. I would prefer a unit already located within Canada to avoid paying import fees. That said, if you have a good deal for me, I am willing to imports.

 

My comfortable budget is up to 300$ CAD including shipping and fees. I could go higher if you have a great deal for me.
