Guitar Amp's as Ipod Speakers|/| Headphone Amps?

i recently came across this a couple year's back.

as i saw someone playing his ipod doing a cover for his Guitar. plugged to his amp.

 

and now that i have some new equipment, those past 2 years shows how late i am to see into it.

 

Things to need:

Dual Sided 3.5mm(or 3.5mm to 6.3mm cord)

|/\| OR |/\|

Dual Sided 3.5mm cord + 3.5mm-to-6.3mm adapter.

 

a Guitar Amp with a overdrive/clean switch

Ipod. any kind.(i recommend 5th gen Classic)

and good music.

Bear in mind, most guitar amps are mono - not stereo... and the inputs are looking for a different kind (and power) of signal - so your results may be less than spectacular.
