Have you consider a Custom monitor with one side being an aid? Something Westone could easily do as matched set.

There is not any Westone Authorized Dealer in my country, so it is something improbable to afford for now. Thank you for your info, anyway

It's gonna weeks before I get the shipment arrival!

I've seen posts on T-P lacks UI features and my previous hi fi system doesn't have EQ control whatsoever and I could live with it for the last 10 years. The pre amp not even have a stereo volume (mono volume) control and have to turn both knops at the same time. I think, IMHO that good system should be the one concentrating every efforts and resources on sound but not features.

Hope the TP could be a perfect match to my Sony MDR EX1000. I've found this pair of IEM is amazingly neutral and rendition of music truthfully (reference to my current audio system). Hope the arrival of TP would bring the whole gear set to another level (am using Sony PCM D50 via ADL Stride).

I think you will be very pleased with the pairing of the Tera and your Sony phones. I have a set of the MDR EX800ST that I often pair with my Tera and they make a great combination.

Hi guys, joining the Tera Player Owner's Guild right here smily_headphones1.gif

I noted after a track's done there's a hissy pop I hear... Is this normal?

Congrats. You're hearing something that's normal. It's more apparent and longer at times with the random feature. Otherwise it's quite short and slightly noticeable. It is just reading your card. Don't worry too much about it. After a while you may notice you don't even realize it's there.

Its kind of loud though.. It wont harm my IEMs will it?

It never gets any louder than you already have heard it. It won't harm your IEMs (AFAIK). Their is no reason it would harm them, its just the noise created from reading the card (I believe).

Thanks Hiflight.

Your MDR EX800ST is the professional twin of my EX1000?

I believe that the EX1000 is of even higher SQ. Cables are interchangeable.

You must have the hearing of a bat! The sound is usually not even detectable on my Tera even when playing random files. Perhaps the ripping engine/encoding process has something to do with the different levels of sound.
