coverting from CD or Mp3 to wav

hello head-fi

i receive my brothers old QA350 mod v2 player from QLS electronics and i was wondering how do i convert from CD or MP3 to wav?
since the QA350 mod v2 only accept wav's

From CD, simply rip the audio with a program like EAC, and don't do any compression.

 

From MP3, there are plenty of programs which will do the conversion (foobar2000 among them). It's a stupid thing to do because you waste a lot of space and it'll sound exactly the same, but I guess if the software developers for your product weren't competent enough to get anything else working, that's just what you'll have to do.
