The Shure 535 are nice. Five years ago I bought the Shure 530 and I was very impressed especially because I never bought a good earphone before most were throw aways. Then I moved onto many other brands suchs as: Ultimate Ears. Atrios, Westones. Then I bought custom earphones from JH and Future Sonics. If you want the meds and highs with alot more bass and sound stage I will suggest the Future Sonics MG6Pro. I also have my eyes on the UM Merlins.

I tried SE535 and W4r at a local shop yesterday and I have to say they are inferior to my IE-8.

If you like bass, go for IE8 and won't be disappointed.

I just received the W4R yesterday, love them so far. Have the IE8 also. IE8 may have better bass, but I'd say the W4R is much better overall.
