I can't make out any numbers on my bass drivers other than 38130962902, which isn't helpful, at least that I know of.

No, it isn't.  The question I have is about consistency; if my driver is not the same as someone else's, will the sound change, and if so, how?

Ah, I see, sorry. It is the 22955 knowles,  they did the swap under warranty within a 20 day turnaround which I think is excellent customer service!! I have only had them back for a day or so and have been really busy so no chance to listen to them that much, there is a fit issue with my right ear so they may have to once again go back but this isn't really a problem I hope. Apart from the driver change everything else is the same.

2955 is our old friend, but maybe verdant to ACS models. look forward to your review.

Apparently the neighbour's grasses always look greener, gerry123456. I'd have gone for the clear shells if it weren't because I'm scared of the yellowing.
