Is it suffecient to drive my hd25-1 by an ipod nano (the newest version, the small square one)?

i want to buy a hd-25 for portable use mainly, and i wonder if my ipod will drive them good.

if not what is needed to drive these? don't want amp btw.

Yep- that's exactly my set-up for listening in my studio...sometimes run thru a Go-Vibe lil' amp, but the 25's sound really good unamped from the Nano.  The cool thing is, they sound just Awesome run thru my big Woo amp too.  A great pair of cans.

will the quality be real bad?
