need advise, looking for the second IEM, first is cx300 but wants more

currently have original cx300, but:

1. like them but they're my first, find myself want to "hear more of the sounds", specially the "rich changing sounds", but if i'm adjusting the volume, bass is taking control.

2. they're gonna die soon (wax, tear in wire)

3. music - most of the time "rich psy-trance-rock" like shpongle and infected mushroom, rest of time seal\enigma\joe cocker\bon jovi. i like that music because all the changes, guitars, synthesizers etc. but i need "rythm" (=some bass?) too...

4. need less grills exposure (most of the day with them, ear wax happenes...), cx300 is terrible

5. budget - ~70$, not from usa so need to add shipping costs most of the time

6. durable, build quality, i wouldn't use warranty, sending my iem over the sea takes month+ to get it back. cx300 were good at that point

7. isolation - using the iem for isolation while studying

two i came across:

etymotic mc5, although little expensive from ebay (buds - good for me?, but deeper than usual/cx300? lack of bass?)

Beyerdynamic dtx 71 (101 little over the budget)

but really looking forward to recommendations, not (only) between those two

prefer not: chinesd  accepted the comments :)

looked in the chart, dunno if the prices are updated.

thanks!

i recomend soundmagic es18 which sounds much better than cx300 and costs only $20.

today almost everything is better than cx300, i'm *not* looking for the cheapest, buying iem every couple of years (bought cx300 before 3+ years), but the best for me at the mentioned budget. also - prefer not chinese

but es18 is on par with for example brainwavz m2, better than beats tour. anyway almost everything now comes from china.
but you live in usa, so you can get monoprice 8320, i suggest to check ljoker multi iem thread.

^This is the thread lvrhs is talking about. But seriously, you are doing yourself a huge disfavour by ruling out things made in China. You will find it extremely difficult to get cheaper earphones for around $70 that are not made in China. There are some options made in France (earsonics) or Japan (Ortofon, Final Audio) but they are way, way over your budget.

Most of the other brands, even the really good models, are made in China. Some of the Chinese brands in particular have a very enthusiastic following here - HiFiMan or Vsonic for instance. They make some very serious, quality gear.

So again, you won't really get many helpful recommendations if you want to stick with non Chinese IEM's.

ok will consider chinese, just afraid of the durability (for example-read at amazon about hifiman re0 lack of it, although i understood from reading here that the sound quality is awesome)

soundmagic, brainwavz, vsonic is more durable than any scullcandy or monster earphones.

+1,"made in China" doesn't mean low QC....

China has stepped up on their QC over the years....

I live in China, so I buy many recommended Chinese IEM, like ECCI and Visang, SoundMAGIC....

And their quality is outstanding....

Don't rule out China for their quality anymore....

Just like the US, there are good products and bad products. China has traditionally been known for bad products because that's all that was being exported to the US, but now we're starting to see an influx of the good products.

I recommend the SoundMAGIC E10 for the OP, having owned both CX300 and E10 you will not be disappointed.

how's the isolation of the brainwavz m2? (if they aren"t "perfect" - can i change tips to better ones?)

also i read about the sunrise xscape ie, but i get that they still have problems(?)

consider maybe extend my budget to 100$, and then there are hisound crystal and shure 215 (ebay) at ~115$ each...

do the double price (visang r03 is ~60$) worth it?

also thought about etymotic (mc5? hf5?) but couldn't understand the big difference in reviews (bass, quality), looks like a risk to me (im international buyer, ebay etc.)
