That is all very unfortunate, that you will not be getting them as soon, but also very lucky, they will be making you a pair.

They look stunning and i can't believe the three layer box with the cable etc getting its now layer.

WHat is that one the first layer?

Of course. Why would these not have a stand!

Yeah, the included stand is rather nifty:

Just a lil nifty :P It sort of compliments everything nicely i guess!

It's a shame that FAD has seemingly gotten ahead of itself here and forgotten about cost controls. Let's hope they pull together a production run of some sort and it doesn't just fizzle out.

The blue ribbons pretty cute.

This slightly tops the Adagio IIIs packaging!

Not sure what to think of the stark packaging. On the one hand it continues the Muramasa VIII's motif of starkness and hard surfaces, and the exterior seems fine and massive. On the other, once opened it seems to be a lot of empty box, some of the cuts look poorly finished, and overall it doesn't seem to work with the headphone and equipment to make a whole and complete work. Which is not necessarily something I expect from most headphone cases, but if FAD is intending this to be a fine craft and work of art, my expectations are for the box to go the extra steps, too.

Although this criticism really has to be tempered by my only seeing photos. I would not be surprised if it is a more complete experience and makes more sense when handled personally.
