Looks like  a novelty item, $8,000 for what looks like little boiling pots on your ears.  I hope someone buys them, I wonder if their sound matches their price.

Might as well strap this to your back,

so that you can use this,

with it on the go

Someone eventually had to outdo Stax in the reedonkulus price arena. Might as well be FAD.

Group buy anyone? (j/k)

Might get the price down somewhat. A little bit? Maybe?

Hmmm, I wonder if their TOTL model will come with a leather headband?

Seeing how this is their "economy" model, a niche industry could be conceived

selling $2000 exotic leather headbands to fit their austere metal arc.

Make mine from baby elephant testicles please!

And i have found most of them can be seen wearing Dr Dre's or Diddy beats whilst lacing up their outrageously expensive sweat shop Nikes and pulling on their designer label cotton shirts!

Nonono leater headbands are for the undedicated disciples, IMO these need aftermarket full metal earpads.  Leather is a compromise!

^ Actually, that's not too far off from reality....

FAD have given their 1602 series IEMs metal eartips. They fit me horribly and hurt lol. I could see them giving these metal earpads.

Maybe buyers need to grow their hair long and use Princess Leia's hairdo for earpads and head-padding biggrin.gif

These haven't been released yet is that right?

Nope. April / May is the projected release date.

Thanks. I wonder who will be the first Head-Fi'er to own a pair?
