The 901 may meet the same level of the DX100, with a different 'flavour' of sound, and of course we're all eager to see what it may bring to the table in the high-end DAP arena, but I genuinely doubt the 901 will actually beat the performance of the DX100 by a particularly significant margin, so, yes, you might see a few DX100s for sale during the honeymoon 'flavour of the month' period following the 901s (eventual) release, but don't be too sure that many DX100 owners will be jumping ship. For all it's irritating quirks, the DX100 sounds extremely good for a portable device.
