Well here is the funny part of the then DX100.

In a short three months. It has improved considerably and drastically from when it was released. If iBasso takes my bug list and suggestion to fix it to heart (which all indication point to that they are infact working on the bug fixes currently), the comparison is really an apples to Rolls Royce comparison. Dx100 exist today and now and also has been updated and continues to be updated. All I hear is blah blah DX100 is going to be blown away (speculative at best), DX100 has short comings compared to the soon to be released Boogieman 10000. etc.

One is reality, the other, vaporware.

Since some of the previous Hifiman players had lots of dust behind the display/screen, does this new one have any evidence of that. I kind like my electronics scratch free & dust free esp. behind the screen

Both my HM-601 and HM-801 gathered dust behind the screen. Just one design flaw out of multitudes, in my opinion.

As a more than happy 601 owner, I am glad I cannot afford this space brick.

I don't understand how so many users actually like this in terms of aesthetics; it is hideous. As with any HM owner I'm sure, form never takes precedence over function when it comes to a DAP- but form does matter. I've grown to quite like the retro charm of the 601 but I don't think I could ever carry that thing around. If Fang could somehow squeeze this under the hood of an AK100 shell, I would be on board.

The HM-901 is the DAB that Darthvader would own and use for his commute to the Deathstar

Who is Joda?

And I don't think Darth Vader would be caught dead in this thing. Jar Jar's ride, all the way.

In some european languages, 'J's are pronounced as 'Y'. So 'Joda' would be their phonetic way to spell Yoda's name.
