I'm looking for Mix Master Mikes(and don't give me crap because their skullcandy, they've gotten pretty decent reviews from both Tyll Hertsens and Jude) their $300 dollars and I know I can find them for cheaper, I just need your guys' help...THANKS IN ADVANCE smily_headphones1.gif

According to google product search, these are the cheapest price:

http://www.flymode.com/product/S6MMDM-003/Skullcandy-Mix-Master-Mic-Black.html?meta=GBASE&metacpg=S6MMDM-003&utm_source=gbase&utm_medium=CPC&utm_content=&utm_campaign=S6MMDM-003

Usually headphones like beats, bose, and skullcandy don't have the dynamic market that higher end headphone companies do, so usually they stick to MSRP, where higher end brands can usually be found for half the price. Out of the 4 headphones I own at the moment, I've only paid over half the MSRP on one of them.

Try second hand or approach stores that have a lonely demo unit without a home.

Ebay?

Sadly (for all of us) most audio equipment don't come down in price that much... not even used. So it will be up to 'x' seller offering headphones at great mark-ups...

Check on the For Sell/Trade forums here first, then amazon, then eBay....

Hehe, those are for phone operators, not music, if it covers the voice frequencies it's good enough.

With popular/mainstream brands (like SkullCandy) I would probably preference going through authorized dealers (which means full ticket SRP), because they're also the most popular models to be ripped off and cloned to dupe people who are trying to value hunt. Of course the manufacturers will capitalize on this, and use it as a reason to sell you on spending full SRP for the item; it's kind of a double-edged sword. Get them for half off (or maybe only $20 off), but get fakes; or spend full-price and get the real deal. Personally I'd spend the $300 (or pick something else, I have no idea what the "Mix Master Mike" is though, so for all I know you're buying the holy grail of headphone-dom and it only costs $300).
