Aurisonics ASG-1: Which tips are the best? (with reviews to come) - Page 4

Well the ts's need a certain shape so to speak - I felt medium was too large for my ear canals.

And I usually buy MEDIUM tips for the T's and the TX's

Would it be too much trouble for you to post a pic of your medium tips next to each other?  I'm considering trying some Ts tips, and I use medium T tips, so I'd love a size comparison.

You are welcome. They may be easier to work with as the core is wider and more forgiving than the Sony's.

I sold the TS's already and only have 1 pair of TX-400's left...

HOWEVER, digged through my site, an found the TS-400's with pictures (which I couldn't find on my PC) -> I document everything I guess :D!

In short, they are shorter and fatter than the T's or TX's.

Just a Little FYI, before I get flamed:
I don;t see the need to download the pictures, then upload them here, as I have everything on the site + I make 0pennies from your views - so No I'm not making money for directing u to my site

(No flaming at me please...)

More like the Sony Hybrids without the inner foam.

So now have ordered several new tips and the comply's definitely seem to make the tone more even, especially with the toning down the mids, but at the expense of detail and lowering the highs and lows. Very comfortable but definitely my least favorite sounding tip overall for me. I find the bi-flanges to be the best for bass and detail subjectively. Have a larger silicone single flange I still need to try out and if I don't like it more than the double flanges I'll start A/Bing which of those I like the best.

Got my grado tips in today and while the fit is a bit tight I have found a pair of their double flanged that provide the most detail and sub bass. Hopefully I've found my tip as this is getting expensive :P. The only problem with these is they seem to make them slightly more "shouty" or exaggerate the mids. Clarity, and bass and treble extension though is definitely better than the other tips I have tried. The bass is the most noticeable though as it has more impact and extension.

okay the stock medium tips work quite well for me. I get a good fit but not exactly a Sealed fit, feels like it could fall out anytime.

Any tip that will give a better seal and isolation. I'm used to the Black shure olives type of isolation for my um3x.

oh for those who are using the Meelec Double Flange tips, are you guys using the "Balanced sound" or the "original" version. Which one is better for the asg-1
