I fell off the wagon!

I can't quit you, head-fi!

My last post here was back in 07.  I was a typical head-fier with a desk full of headphones and amps.  One day I walked into my office and was annoyed at how many cords there were.  Instead of organizing it, I decided that I should be happy with one rig.  So I sold most of my gear off and subsequently stopped visiting this forum.

A few weeks ago, I was surfing the web, enjoying some late night scotch.  When all the sudden I had a hankering to visit head-fi.  I started reading about all the great stuff I've been missing out on over the last few years.

Fast forward to today, and in just a few short weeks I'm the new owner of a pair of Audeze LCD2s, a schiit bifrost, schiit lyr, and an apex butte.

You can't really leave this place.  Even after 5 years.

To welcome you back...You should come to the Austin meet on March 10th. There's a link in my signature. You can hear what you've been missing first hand.

EDIT: You've missed Audeze and Cavalli's house amps for one. Cavalli is based in Austin, and Dr. Cavalli himself will be there. So you get local support in there as well. Don't come if you value a full wallet though. :D

Wow, so I'm not the only one!

I'm glad to know that at some point I might be able to work up to leaving for a whole five years though!
