Spiral Dots are new with the HA-850 (aka Woody). Not sure if they are supplied with lesser JVC IEM's but I doubt it.

I have no problem with the 000 cable, i think it is excellent.

Can someone share their experience with the Starlight BTG cable? I'm very curious about how much improvement you're actually getting compared to the 001 stock cable. I'm pretty interested with the Starlight cable myself since I'm a new owner of the TG334. Your input will be very much appreciated.

It's function is very very good. Much better ergonomics than the stock cable.

I've noticed that it was a bit brighter than the stock, a slight improvement, don't expect drastic changes here.

I would recommend it for the overall ease of use. It's flexibility. Don't think too much about sonic changes.

So in other words there's very little sonic changes from the BTG Starlight cables......:(

I'm just saying you shouldn't buy into the cable-fi sound change hype. But of course it's just my opinion, feel free to disregard it.

In my opinion, the BTG is a no brainer since the stock cable is so stiff and uncomfortable.

Thanks for your input Eve Tan....truly appreciate it. I totally agree with you on the cable-fi sound change hype. Sometimes the price of the cable can actually play a psychological effect on a lot of people especially if the cable is very expensive ;)

If I were to get the Starlight cable, it's definitely for a less stiffer cable than the 001.

Just remember what you are aiming for. If it's just ease of use, then the ergonomics is all that matters. If you want better sonics, look at the rest of your chain as well: source, music file format. smily_headphones1.gif

I've used the Starlight on my Fitears.  I agree with Eve Tan's assessment.  It is a nice little cable and good price too!

I used Starlight when I still have the 334 and ergonomically, it is better than the stock 001.
Sonic-wise, I did notice the treble opened up a little bit.
OTOH, it could just be placebo effect and it was based on my memory since I sold the 334 and Starlight last December

I enjoyed the BTG Starlight on the TG334 and really liked it on the 1+2. I thought it very similar voicing to the original Tralucent silver cable.

Ergonomics are top notch. Great cable.

At it's price and the SQ, no doubt a great cable.
