FitEar TO GO! & Universal Series --- Suyama's custom IEM, made universal! - Page 200

Hi,

I recommend to upgrade from stock cable. Here is my cable 99% silver plus 1% gold. It provides more extended on high and more deep and tight bass. Sound is more full and separate image, not congest.

I'm too using the 99% silver and 1% gold and can hear what u described. However, a bit resolution is sacrificed, in a nice way, i think. Mine's made from Mundorf wire.

being a worldwide famous cable killer, I don't know where to stand here. I mean I will get the cable stuck on something while moving someday IT WILL HAPPEN!! :'( .

I'm happy thinking the pins are better and sturdier, but at the same time I like the idea that the cable would give in when put under too much pressure (the jack would be pulled out, or the cable from the IEM socket, or the pins would break).  just because that way I feel the weak point isn't the 1000$+ iem itself (or my ear for the matter).

I guess time will tell if it's a good thing or not.

I'd much rather have that design with a CIEM or a universal vs the non-recessed design that is on 99.9% of all CIEMs. Believe me you're much better off with the Sennheiser pins. The fact that it's bigger and stronger (on a IEM mind you) means it will last longer. Now I'm not sure about constantly removing and attaching the cable. I think that would eventually lead to problems but I'm pretty sure you have even more longevity than standard pins do regardless.

Is it possible for you to take a picture of you wearing the TG!334 please? I'm particularly curious on how far this Sennheiser connector sticks in front of the ear with the TG!334.

Can't see much....how about a side view, please.

Yep I think a side view would be clearer although front view, it does appear the connector stem extends by quite a bit.

It's very flexible cable. Much more flexible than ALO or 000. Sound a bit bright but very details. Bass impact is not as good as ALO one.

What do you think about the bass on the 000 vs ALO?

I didn't own the 000 and only try it for a short period of time. Between SXC24, Silver dragon, and The Virus that I owned, I would say that SXC24 have the best bass impact but kind of less control.

I want to improve the soundstage and imaging of my FitEar Parterre. Tried the 000 but i think the 000 didn't make much difference on the TG334 and Parterre while it did improve the soundstage and imaging of the MH335DW noticeably. Can you make some comparison between the stock 001 and the Silver dragon? I intend to go with the silver dragon but want to read some impressions first :)

I also use it on my MH335DW. Sound stage is definitely improved over the stock. Instead of close and narrow from stock, you got a little bit wider and more deeper stage. The mid seem not as forwarded as the stock since the treble a little more forwarded.
