yep minus the electronic noises when the clip buffers or whatever. else the soundstage takes a hit but it's still enough to have fun.

I tried to find the vocabulary words you mentioned above on your website: Poison, Virus (hope it's not contagious), and Widow. I don't see any mention of them. Can you please explain, or provide a descriptive linky.

Mark,

The Silver Cables you see on the Website are the Poison, the Virus and Widows are not yet listed on the site.

The Virus is what you could call a true hybrid cable, it has both OCC silver and copper wire strands within the same wire, unlike other hybrid cables you find, that will use 2 copper wires and 2 silver to make up a cable, or an 8 wire hybrid, that has 4 copper and 4 silver. My cables use 4 wires, but each wire contains stands of both.

The Silver Widow, is quite similar to the Silver Poison, but it contains a larger percentage of gold and is a type 2 litz wire, also a slightly larger gauge.

A search of the above names on my appreciation thread will bring up more info and reviews, without you having to read the whole 290 pages.

Please feel free to email/PM me with anything else, but please do allow some time for replies as i am extremely busy at present.

I haven't tried the Virus, but I have the Silver Poison and the Silver Widow and they are both excellent cables. I use one of them every day (depending on which CIEM I listen to) and have had the Poison for over a year. Excellent build quality and they look spectacular.

My Virus will be shipped this week. Let's see how good it is compared to ALO SXC24 and silver dragon on my MH335DW.

Sorry about your wallet tongue.gif
Time for you to hunt for after-market silver or SPC cable if you're not happy with the ergonomic or sound from the stock cable.
AK120 is an excellent pairing with 334, but stay away from stock AK100. I upgraded fr stock AK100 to AK120 last weekend and couldn't be happier, except for my wallet tongue.gif

SPC referred to silver plated copper.

ALO SXC24 and Fitear 000 cables are both SPC. Starlight from BTG audio is also SPC.

Im listening to my TG!334 off a DX100/BTG starlight combo. Im considering the AK120, as Id like to go for something more pocketable/portable . Also read that the battery life is better than the DX100 which will be a big plus for me. I like the DX100 quite a bit, albeit the size and battery life...but Im considering a lighter/smaller player. I was thinking of the Altmann Tera player, but cant sum up to its costs yet...Currently I end listening to my TG!334 straight off my iphone4 as I find it most accessable and comfortable to use for longer hours, and the TG!334 does decently through the iphone4. Has anyone got the chance to listen to the TG!334 on a DX100 and the AK120, to compare the two in terms of sound quality?

or you can try getting the japanese version of the dx100. It has a bigger battery
