Hi akhyar.  Do ignore my earlier request.  I see that you have listed some in your earlier posting.  Will check those out.  Regards.

You can try MusicaAccoustics or Ortofon Europe for the Ortofon tips, eBay for the Heir-lookalike and V-Moda USA for their tips.

For Sony Hybrid tips, I read somewhere that Sony Store at Bishan Junction 8 might have it.

I believed some of the UE tips can also be used on the FitEars.

Just to add, Jaben has some 3rd-party Ortofon compatible tips.

Maybe you would like to try that also.

You can search this forum or Google for the reviews on BTG cable coz IIRC, other than Fitear only BTG used the overmold connection for Fitear universal.

Akyhar I'm still waiting for your impression on the Starlight! Any ETA from Brian? I'm looking for a balanced cable for the HM-901 but wary of the cost and wait time for another Twag v3...

I received a reply from Brian last Monday that he just received the bulk cable last week.

He said that he'll ship out all the Fitear cable orders within a week but so far I never received any follow-up email after that.

I think TWag v3 is on another level, but from what I read, mentally you have to prepare for at least 2-3 months minimum waiting period :p

Yup the wait was painful for the Twag and I'm really not willing to buy another one just to get it balanced for the 901. Sound and comfort (and mine 8-conductor) is excellent with the Twag V3 tho.

Hope you will receive your starlight soon. Else I may just go with a Chinese workshop who may start to make cables with fitear connectors.

Thanks again akhyar.  There's plenty for me to check out on.  Much appreciated.

Just received mine BTG starlight in the mail. Build quality is excpetional. It improves every weakness the 334s have. The performance of BTG makes the $400 000 cable overpriced to some extent.

Wating time is 6 weeks but worth it.

Yep. I got to play around with Cn11's Starlight cable for the 334. Very nice cable for the price. I was very impressed with its quality and especially price point.

Excellent news.

Brian just replied to my email that there are many orders for Fitear cables ahead of me, so he try to send out mine by this week.

I ordered without the sleeve coz I want more malleability and also change the connector to RA Oyaide.

On a side note, I think ALO received new shipment of TG!334 coz it's available again in their webstore.

Good news for those that are looking for this IEM

Good for you akhyar. And thanks klfl for your update and pics!I got impatient and went ahead to order one from Music Heaven (the Chinese workshop I mentioned earlier) and is expecting to receive it by end of the week.

I picked a Valhalla reference cable based model (silver plated copper) instead of a more expensive silver one as this is my first time trying their products. Hope it goes well..

Klfl how do you like the 334 with the Starlight compared with your 1+2 with silver/gold cable?Especially how would you compare the subbass and treble extension?

Nice to see some positive BTG starlight impressions. I have an unsleeved version waiting for me that I should be able to grab in a couple weeks.  I bought it for better memory wire and ergonomics that were reported (along with a personal preference for right angle vs. straight plugs).  Not really expecting any sonic changes, just an improvement over the stiff and rather microphonic stock cable.

Similar here. The main reason for purchasing the BTG starlight is the better ergonomics reported by few reviews so far.

If the treble can open up a bit due to the silver-plated wire, I consider that a plus.

Unfortunately these two aspects are not the strength of the Fitears. The 334s have slightly rolled off highs result in a relatively siblance free signature, which is what I prefer. The 334s' bass depth is top notch among BA based iems but the hybrid design 1+2s still have the upper hand due to the dynamic driver. The 334s' mid wins by a large margin and the vocals are much better presented.

The Starlight improves imaging, increases high range detail and tightens the bass without hindering mid range. Which improves the major weakness of the 334s and bring its capability closer to the 1+2s'.

Also the 1+2s' scaling ability when amped is much greater than the 334s'. I have not tried other cables for the 1+2s' so I believe these still have some potential.

Sound signature wise the 1+2s are the least favorite of the two for me. But performance wise I think these are slightly above the 334s with better dynamics and overall detail level.

Thanks klfl. Good to hear with spc cable the 334 also has improved its treble to somewhat close to 1+2. I think I'd be quite happy with the Music Heaven valhalla cable (also spc) if it provide 70% improvement of what I got from the Twag v3 for the 334.

I think you are spot on with the very different signatures between these two totl universals. I actually appreciate both presentation and looking at getting a 1+2 from Gavin with his next batch of production.

Been reading up on this thread and thanks to all the guys that suggested ortofon tips. I just couldn't get a good seal with the stock tips.
