I agree with this. The ortofon tips and BTG cable are worth the investment for me.

For sure. I like the BTG cable well enough that I ordered the exact same spec but with JH/Westone connectors for my MG6Pros (didn't do anything to help bring them closer to the TG!334's though)... So now I have a cable all set to go for the ASG-2 when I eventually get a pair! (a bit O-T)

I think only Musica Acoustics sells it.

thanks for the info. Anybody know if these are the same Grado uses? They look very similar and I'm 95% sure they'll fit FTG334.

I just found a pouch with my stock ie8 tips(which I never liked or used with the ie8) and found the cheap looking shiny foam tips to work best for me, finally I am able to enjoy this iem!L3000.gif

here's a pic of the tips I'm referring to:

I just had the whiplash cable before I sold the 334. I got the 4 conductor Twcu V3 and thought it was really amazing. As someone mentioned before, the microphonics were gone. I did feel like the sound of the 334 has a lot more sparkle to it and detail to it. I was pretty impressed.

I think the Whiplash cable experience involves long wait times, high prices, and a lot of mumbo jumbo. However, I've never been disappointed by one of their cables. I would highly recommend it.

Yes I believe they are the same.

Musica Acoustics is the only dealer that sells the ortofon tips all in one size (that I know of). Ortofon will sell them directly but is a package of s, m, l.

might have to go with Musica Acoustics then. If I choose medium for example, how many tips are in there? three?

Also, do I have to use EMS shipping option for U.S.?

5pr. And no you don't have to use EMS. EMS is faster, trackable and signature reuquired shipping. You can email Dimitri to be sure.

They seem to have the tips at their US site for $14.  I assume it is a mixed S/M/L set.  http://www.ortofon.us

Nice. $14 plus free shipping. That's a lot easier to swallow than $35 plus shipping for some silicon tips

But for $14 you are only getting 1 usable pair. I bought from ortofon but if I could do it over, I'd go with MA b/c I like the ortofon tips on everything.

When I bought my tips from Musica, I got 5 pairs of mediums and 5 pairs of larges. Much more worth it IMO.

I suppose the issue here, is that, as with all things, I'm unsure as to what my experience with the product in question will be, and I'm just going off of the experiences and intuition of others. In that sense, I think it's less of a gamble to just get one pair in all sizes as I'm not sure whether I'd fall under s/m/l (not sure if they employ Sony sizing) or even if the Orty tips would net me the best performance/fit when compared to other tips I have on hand.
