Absolutely. Some of the best build quality and durability regardless of cost.

After 4 days of going back and forth I put an order for these earphones today. Very excited. I am hoping that I won't have to to spend any more money on earphones for the rest of my life (lol) Also, anyone know how these compare to ath-ck10?

Quickly put- The ck10 is thinner, faster and much brighter. The TG334 will sound thicker, bigger and taller. It will have a greater sense of space and depth with excellent instrument realism and decay. The midrange of the TG334 is unmatched IMO.

Shotgunshane, how does the 334 stack up against the Merlin? Too bad you don't have your AS-2 yet.

My short-list (so far) for my next universal IEM is the Heir 5.0, the ASG-2, the 334, and the 1plus2. Needless to say, I'd be happy if the 5.0 and/or ASG-2 (at half the price) compared favorably to the 334 and/or 1+2 .

Tried out all the tips I have around on the 334s, Heir Audio tips fit the nozzle nicely, but didn't fit my ear too well, but is another option if people want to look into them (stiff silicone stem, softer flange).  Best I found was some old Ultimate Ears single flange tips, fit the 334 stem tightly and have a wide bore.  Very comfy.

I have the TG334 ranked at the top of the heap of all the iem I've tried, even the couple of ciem I've owned. The TG334 mids are the best I've heard, period. I am looking forward to the AS-2 and am planning to write a detailed comparison between it and the TG334.

I've just received the 1plus2 and love them. Will hopefully compare them to the Miracles in a few weeks, and with the 5.0 as soon as I receive them.

So I buckled and got some Ortofon tips from Musica...

Fortunately, they'll accept my request for 5 mediums and 5 larges :P

Excellent, Dimitri is usually very accommodating. Let us know how you like them after you receive.

Hi guys,

Just bought medium sized Comply T500's for my TG!334. Initial impressions with my iBasso DX100:

Tames the treble quite a bit, foam probably covers the bore holes inside the ear canal. Isolation and seal is superior compared to stock tips and bass is increased as a result. Music sounded more engaging at first due to the emphasized bass. 'Tamacun' by Rodrigo y Gabriela feat. CUBA sounds great, for example but 'Smiling Not Smiling' by Porcupine Tree sounds too dark and bugs me.

In general, acoustic guitar arrangements (classical guitar, double bass, percussion - think Baden Powell) sound great. However, listening to rock band pieces like 'New Dawn Fades' by Joy Division I feel like I need to turn the volume up just to get more treble but then bass increases past the point of preference.

I also got my BTG Audio Starlight Fit Ear SPC cable. Just about to listen to that now. So far build quality looks pretty good but its obvious it's handmade and not a polished mass manufactured product. I don't mind this... in fact, I think it adds to its charm. Ergonomically the cable is a huge relief. I'll post some photos if I can convince my visually talented girlfriend to spare some time and photograph it.

I feel like I'm getting more details due to the greater isolation factor. This may be placebo as I'm paying more active attention to the sound but I feel that the small size stock tips really don't do these earphones any justice. Sound stage may have improved slightly with the comfortable Comply and BTG Cable combination. If I turn the volume up the soundstage seems to increase and sound more like its outside my head, feels a little larger and more natural. Please be aware this is more of a subtle difference than how I make it sound. I may be wrong, I may be very wrong, I may be hopelessly wrong.

Regardless, I think I'll look forward to the Ortofon tips instead. The more I listen, the more the dark nature bothers me.
