FitEar TO GO! & Universal Series --- Suyama's custom IEM, made universal! - Page 155

Next time I decide to upgrade, it'll be FitEars, I have the feeling.  No way I'm going the CIEM route, so I'm glad there are so many quality universals out there now, in a wide price range too.

Last night I had a head-fi related dream. In that dream, there was this combo:

Red MH335DW and a black WA7 Fireflies. Given how quiet this amp is and that it comes with a 1/8" jack specifically for IEM listening, I'm rather intrigued to try out the combo. Plus the pair is just pure sex for the eyes.

The WA7 is the love child of an amp I used to own :)

The Type 1 is an integrated and the Type 2 a power amp.

I'm in the market for a nice integrated amp, so thanks!

Thanks for confirming. I'll probably end up going that route.

Yeah, a bit too rich for my blood (just a bit), but I enjoy looking at ridiculous speaker gear.

I'd like to hear the WA7 with the Heir Tzar 350's, that might make for an interesting combo.

So I got in my 334/000 combo today.  Not a huge fan of the stock tips, had 3 pairs of clear silicon tips that came with it in addition to stock.  They look like the Ortofon tips.  Is there any clear way to confirm... all I can say is they're clear silicone, slightly smaller than the stock tips, and seemed to be designed for something with a smaller bore and took a bit of wrangling to get them on.  Popping those on made a world of difference.  Wow, seriously.  I'm just loving these in conjunction with my Meridian Explorer.  The 000 is quite an unwieldy/microphonic cable, but it does seem to earn its keep sonically compared to the 001.

If TOGO334 ordered from MusicaAcoustics then yes the tips included along are Silicon made by ortofon.

Enjoy!
